Learning path options
Both options are designed for working adults who have completed their lower division and general education courses.
Traditional path
This is a two-year program designed for graduates to earn certification while gaining valuable field experience.

ASU Teaching Fellows
This is a 16-month accelerated program that includes interactive, once-a-week evening courses through ASU Sync and other flexible online formats. Students meet in person to participate in monthly school-supported learning lessons.

Weekly sync classes are held on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the fall 2023 and spring 2024 semesters.
Monthly in-person professional learning community days will be held at the Tempe Campus from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m
In-person dates for fall 2023: August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16
In-person dates for spring 2024: January 18, February 15, March 21, April 18

Take classes remotely via ASU Sync
ASU Sync is an option for Arizona students to take classes in real time, remotely via Zoom. Classes are designed to foster active collaboration and discussion with top-tier faculty members and peers throughout Arizona.
