NATIVE AMERICAN EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP (NAEL)
Doctor of Education (EdD)

The Native American Educational Leadership (NAEL) program offers an accelerated doctoral (EdD) degree exclusively for practicing administrators and teacher leaders. Recognizing the need for effective leadership in school districts having students with diverse language and cultures, international travel and the study of exemplary Native Peoples education programs are an integral part of the NAEL program.
The NAEL doctoral program seeks applicants who are assistant principals, principals, directors, supervisors with district responsibilities, assistant superintendents, superintendents, human resource and school business administrators, governmental educational personnel and teacher leaders. This rigorous, sixty-six (66) semester hours, accelerated program meets the needs of working administrators and teacher leaders. An optional administrative internship is available for those graduate students seeking administrative certification as a principal or superintendent.
