Spring 2013 ASU Commencement & Convocation Ceremonies
To attend commencement and convocation
- An email announcement is sent to all students who have applied to graduate by the university application deadline.
- All students must RSVP by APRIL 19, 2013 to ensure their name is read at the ceremony, their name appears on the Jumbotron, a diploma cover is reserved for them and seating is available for guests.
- Due to facility capacity issues, there is a limit of 10 guests per graduate. Tickets are not required for family, friends and guests. However, for planning purposes, students must indicate the number of guests they will bring to the ceremony when they RSVP. Please note that the doors open one hour prior to the ceremony start time and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are not permitted to save seats.
- Graduating students must wear an ASU cap and gown to participate in the ceremony – no exceptions. Please contact the ASU bookstore to purchase your cap and gown.
ASU COMMENCEMENT recognizes students from all ASU colleges. The university president confers degrees upon students at this ceremony.
TEACHERS COLLEGE CONVOCATION is the celebratory event during which students walk across the stage and receive individual recognition by the college dean.
