The maximum teaching load is SIX (6.0) credit hours per semester. This is a university wide limit (i.e., if you are teaching three credit hours at one CAMPUS, you may only teach three more at ANY CAMPUS for a total of six credit hours in the university system).

Application status

Applicants will be notified of the status of their application after review by appropriate Division faculty and administrators.

Applications that are accepted but not hired are kept on file for one year. At the end of that time, a letter is sent to the applicant, advising them that they must submit an updated application if they wish their application to remain in the active pool.

Minimum Requirements for Classroom Experience

For all courses, the Division requires relevant classroom experience. To teach at an undergraduate level, a masters degree is required in the teaching field for the area you are seeking employment. To teach at the graduate level, a doctorate degree is required by the Division of Graduate Studies in the teaching field for the area you are seeking employment.
