We understand that parking can be challenging for our clients, especially those who come from off-campus and are not familiar with ASU.

mapAs a courtesy to our clients, the Counselor Training Center (CTC) has purchased four spaces that are reserved only for our clients. These spaces are located in Lot 16 behind the Tempe Center (TMPCTR) on the SE end, at the corner of Myrtle and 10th Street (reference map). Each space has a sign on the fence that indicates “Reserved for CTC Visitor.” There is no charge to our clients to park there for your scheduled appointment; however, you must check in at our front desk with the make, model, color and plate number of your vehicle. These spaces are monitored on a regular basis to ensure they are available to our clients. Any vehicle that is not signed in with the CTC front desk will very likely be towed. It is your responsibility to check in with us, so please remember to do so.

If a reserved space is not available, our next recommendation is to park in Lot 16 Visitor Parking, a Pay & Display Lot located in Tempe Center at University Drive and Myrtle Ave (one block East of Mill Avenue). The rate is $2.00 per hour and payment is made at a yellow pay box located in the lot. Also, since your appointment is approximately an hour long, we highly recommend that you pay for more than an hour of parking to ensure that you do not get ticketed.

Some other parking tips include the following:

  • Primary visitor parking for the northwest portion of campus is available in the ASU Foundation Parking Structure, located on University Drive and College Avenue.
  • If you have an ASU parking decal, you can cross-park in most lots or structures. Cross-parking in Lot 16 is restricted until after 6:00 PM.
  • After 7:00 PM anyone can park in most lots and parking structures. Always double-check signage at entry. Also, most metered parking areas are free after 7:00 PM.
  • During the day, avoid parking in one hour metered spaces. Vehicles parked at expired meters WILL be ticketed.
  • Allow enough time so you will not be late for your appointment.
