About the program
The Mary Lou Fulton Preschool is open to the public. Enrollment is available to 3, 4 and 5 year olds. Open enrollment begins on the first of March for the following academic year and admittance is determined on a first come, first served basis. A wait list is not maintained. Each of the three classrooms has 18 children with a teacher, a graduate assistant teacher and a student aid. The preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Facilities
The preschool is located in the Farmer Education Building, Room 104, at the Arizona State University Tempe campus. Housed in three brightly lit rooms with furniture and equipment designed for children of preschool age, the classrooms consist of an imaginative playroom, a creative art room and a discovery science/ math room. The preschool playground facilitates open-ended play and exploration in a large, fenced in, grassy area between the Farmer and Payne Education buildings.
